FUNDING FOR COMMUNITY MT DRUITT PROJECTS

THE electorate of Mount Druitt has secured $300,000 in funding for a total of 10 projects through the NSW Government’s 2023 Community Building Partnership Program. Edmond Atalla, Member for Mount Druitt, said:- “I am pleased to receive this State Government funding. The funding will aim to create more vibrant and inclusive communities and deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes. Some of the key projects which successfully obtained a grant include: A Hospital Certified “Cuddle” Bed for Palliative patients and their families as well as funding to replace old and damaged gymnastics equipment at the PCYC, Shalvey”. “This is fantastic news for Mount Druitt”. “I congratulate all the organisations that were successful in their application and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference for community groups in my area.” The Community Building Partnership program has funded more than 19,700 community projects since it commenced in 2009.
