WOTSO SETS UP AT WESTPOINT
WESTPOINT Blacktown Shopping Centre owned by QIC boasts a range of shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences and it can now add a flexible workspace to its directory board.
As the demand for flexible work solutions surges, it came as no surprise that QIC was eager to add WOTSO to its portfolio of offerings.
In a joint effort between QIC and WOTSO Property, the two groups have increased the value offering of the traditional retail experience by setting up a WOTSO Flex Space in one of Western Sydney’s most extensive shopping destinations, Westpoint Blacktown.
As the retail ecosystem evolves, there is an expectation for shopping centres to continue to transform and deliver more extensive offerings for customers.
With over 250,000 registered businesses in Western Sydney, the two groups are aware that introducing a flexible workspace to a well-known and accessible location has many benefits for businesses and surrounding retailers by supporting locals towork near home and attracting businesses that wouldn’t otherwise be in the area.
“Collaborating with QIC to combine retail space with our workspaces has unlocked significant value for ourmembers and the community,” said Tim Brown, Joint Managing Director and CFO at WOTSO.
“Our successful launch in Macarthur Square highlighted the potential of this unique model, and we’re excited to replicate this success in Blacktown."
QIC Investment Manager Catherine Carmody said the Westpoint team was thrilled to partner with WOTSO.
“We are proud to add flexible workspace solutions of the highest calibre to the dynamic retail, hospitality and entertainment offering already at Westpoint,” Ms Carmody said.
